Pinterest – still no new Designated Agent Form

I was checking the copyright office to see if Pinterest finally updated the name and address of its Designated Agent as it is required to do under the DMCA.  The Designated Agent information posted on its website must match the DMCA Designated Agent information as registered with the Copyright Office as a pre-condition to immunity under the DMCA.   Pinterest has not updated the information on file with the Copyright Office although it has been years since they changed that information on their website and months since they updated their DMCA Policy.  Now it does take some time for the copyright office to process the Amended Interim forms, but it usually happens in 3 weeks or less.  I still do not understand why this has not been done by Pinterest.

I am still of the opinion that Pinterest  does not have immunity under the DMCA because Pinterest’s posted DMCA Policy and the Designated Agent registration do not match as is required under DMCA.
